in 1958 ,raja sardar singh bahadur,raja ajit singh's grandson,doneted futteh billass palace,sanctified by swami vivekananda's stay,to the ramkrishna mission.thereafter,it was renamed as 'RAMAKRISHANA MISSION VIVEKANANDA SMRITI MANDIR'.since then,the work of the ramakrishana mission in rajasthan began in earnest.futteh billass palace now houses 'ajit-vivek',a museum dedicated to the life and teachings of swami vivekananda.
'Ajit-vivek' was conceived during the 150th birth annivesary of swami vivekananda.the concept has become a reality,thanks to the generous support from the ministry of culture,government of india,the government of rajasthan and admirers of swami vivekananda
